Shelter NSW is hosting a series of four lectures on the solutions needed to put Australiaâs housing system on a sustainable path. Based on the first comprehensive overview of the subject in 25 years, Professor Hal Pawson will provide an introduction to housing policy in Australia and present a holistic agenda for reform. Leading academics Associate Professor Hazel Easthope and Dr Laurence Troy will build the case for reform by unpacking the structural problem of housing affordability and policies for affordable housing. The series will provide foundational insights for both professionals and individuals who want to understand the causes and solutions to Australiaâs structural housing challenges.
